"Christmas by the Sea" is next for the advent calendar. The beach in winter is underrated. I made this cocktail over Thanksgiving break at the South Carolina coast and it got me in the Christmas spirit. Walking by the water bundled up is a wonderful experience. It's also great for my dogs so they don't get overheated and can play non-stop.

For the drink:
-2 oz Indian scotch (Rampur Asava
-1/2 oz vinho verde (Encostas Do Lima)
-3/4 oz fresh blood orange juice
-1 bar spoon raspberry preserves
Glassware:
Coupe
Add the drink ingredients to a cocktail shaker, add ice, and shake for ten seconds. Pour through a Hawthorne and fine mesh strainer.
