ADVENT CALENDAR: STOCKING STUFFER

For Day Nine of the cocktail advent calendar, I created "The Stocking Stuffer." This layered shot reminds me of the excitement on Christmas morning when I dig through my stocking from top to bottom. If you don't want to take it as a shot, you can mix it with some milk and ice to sip on.

For the drink:

-1/2 oz cream liqueur (Amarula or Bailey's)

-1/2 oz crème de menthe (De Kupyer)

-1/2 oz crème de cacao (Tempus Fugit Crème de Cacao)

Glassware:

Shot glass

Pour in the crème de cacao first. Place your bar or small spoon in the shot glass just above crème de cacao upside-down so it's concave down. Gently pour the crème de menthe over the back of the spoon. It will settle on top of the crème de cacao. Repeat with the creme liqueur.

*Note you can layer shots with any liquor, you just need to determine which is densest to lightest based on sugar content. Pour gently so they don't mix.
