BOBBING FOR APPLES

"Bobbing for Apples" is the first cocktail in a while. With Fall back The Collarless is back. This cocktail goes heavy on the apple to lean into the Autumn stereotype, but combining the calvados and pechuga style apple brandy brings a unique element.




For the drink:

-1 1/2 oz Calvados (Boulard VSOP)

-1/2 oz Pechuga style apple brandy(Asimina Pumila Baltimore Spirits Co.)

-1/3 oz pine liqueur (Zirbenz)

-1/3 oz amaretto (Caffo)

-1/2 oz fresh lemon juice

-1/4 oz simple syrup

-3 dashes mole bitters


Garnish:

Apple slices


Glassware:

Fizz


Combine the drink ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake for 10 seconds. Pour through a Hawthorne and fine mesh strainer. Garnish with apple slices.
