The fall whiskey cocktail series continues with the "Falling Leaves." Like most people, I love when the leaves change so I thought of this garnish and then built the drink. This combination of fall fruits and spices really captured the feeling of Autumn.

For the drink:
-1 1/2 oz Japanese whiskey (Nikka Coffey Malt)
-1/2 oz Calvados (Chauffe-Coeur VSOP)
-1/2 oz pear liqueur (Clear Creek Pear Liqueur)
-1/3 oz allspice dram (St. Elizabeth)
-3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
-1/3 oz honey simple syrup
-1 dash autumn bitters
Garnish:
Lime peel
Lemon peel
Grapefruit peel
Glassware:
Fizz
Add the drink ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake for 10 seconds. Pour through a Hawthorne and fine mesh strainer. Garnish.
