"Monster from the Blue Lagoon" is another entry in the Halloween Series. While the original monster is from the Black Lagoon, this drink offers a more vibrant spin with a tropical profile that still has a bite.
For the drink:
-1 1/2 oz gin (Procera Blue Dot)
-1 oz cloudberry liqueur (Lapponia Lakka)
-3/4 oz bergamot liqueur (Italicus)
-1 oz fresh cara cara orange juice
-1/4 oz simple syrup
Garnish:
Blue water and dry ice*
Glassware:
Tropical martini glass
Combine the drink ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake for 10 seconds. Pour through a Hawthorne and fine mesh strainer.
*Make the blue water in a bowl with either butterfly pea flowers or blue food dye. Then add a small piece of dry ice to the bowl NOT the drink. BE CAREFUL WITH DRY ICE. Read about it before using it.
