The first European tiki drink is the "Singapore Sling." While there really is only one featured Sicilian ingredient, the pistachio orgeat, I liked the alliteration. Pairing the pistachio orgeat, with lime, campari, and a few drops of saline solution incorporated flavors that hit every area of the palate.
For the drink:
-1 1/2 oz dark rum (George Bowman)
-3/4 oz Campari
-3/4 oz Pistachio orgeat
-3/4 oz Lime
-3 drops Saline
-Top with Seltzer
Combine all the drink ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Add ice until three-quarters full and shake for 10 seconds. Pour through a Hawthorne and fine mesh strainer into your glass with ice. Garnish.
