In Brazil, when they play soccer, they play the beautiful game, jogo bonito. For my Brazilian tropical cocktail, I made the beautiful juice, "Soco Bonito." The cachaca provided the foundational Brazilian element and I garnished with a loose interpretation of a Brazilian flag.

For the drink:
-2 oz cachaca (Avua Amburana)
-1/2 oz fresh lime juice
-1 1/4 oz fresh cara cara orange juice
-1/3 oz simple syrup
-1 pinch of Saffron
-1 sprig of lemon thyme
-Coconut soda
Garnish:
Lime peel
Lemon Peel
Blueberry
Glassware:
Tom Collins glass
Add the pinch of saffron to the cachaca and allow it to steep for 30 minutes to an hour. While steeping, cut out a rectangle piece of lime peel, a diamond from the lemon peel, and assemble on your cocktail stick with the blueberry for an abstract Brazilian flag. Add the chachaca to a cocktail shaker with the lemon thyme leaves and muddle for about 5 seconds. Add the lime juice, orange juice, simple syrup and ice. Shake for 10 seconds. Pour into your Tom Collins glass with ice through Hawthorne and fine mesh strainer. Add the garnish.
