Guest Feature: Corey Gheesling

For the drink:

1/3 cup Tequila

1/3 cup Fresh lime juice

1/4 cup Fresh lemon juice

1 Mandarin orange squeezed

1 Can of lime seltzer


For the rim:

Lime wedge

Kosher salt


Glassware:

32 oz Mason jar


Slice your lime into a wedge. Push the wedge against the rim and slide it around the glass. Pour the kosher salt onto a plate and rub the glass in it.

Combine all of the drink elements in the large mason jar. Add ice and stir until mixed. Add the mandarin slices that were juiced and the lime used for the rim.


Thanks to Corey Gheesling for his take on a margarita. This hefty margarita was a pleasure to make, and helped me beat the DC heat mid-summer. I loved the healthy proportions, so take your time to enjoy it.
